Custom design & private labeling

Make the character
part of your identity.

Custom design starts with the toy itself: its shape, proportions, expression, colors and texture. Private labeling focuses on how a product carries your identity, including labels, tags and presentation. Your brief can bring both together.

Plan beyond the first sketch

Explain where the toy will be used, who will receive it and how it will be presented. A retail collection, promotional mascot and gifting project may need different choices in size, finishing and packaging.

Discuss sampling, revision steps, testing requirements, costs and delivery terms before committing to production. A well-defined brief helps everyone work toward the same result.

Start with the essentials

A few helpful answers

Before you begin.

What should I include in a custom toy brief?

A sketch or reference, desired size, colors, intended age group, quantity, branding needs, delivery destination and target date make a useful starting point.

Can I explore my own branding?

Include labels, hangtags, embroidery and packaging in your brief so the team can confirm the options available for your project.

How are pricing and timelines confirmed?

They depend on the design, materials, quantity, sampling requirements and shipment. Request a project-specific quotation before making commitments.

What about toy safety?

Identify the intended age and sales market early. Applicable testing, labeling and compliance documentation should be confirmed for the final product.
